30 maggio 2009 Vai ai commentiQuick Search è un plugin per wordpress che integra una ricerca dinamica sul vostro blog. Attivando il plugin dal menu d’amministrazione di wordpress quick-search manipolerà il vostro “form” di ricerca aggiungendo alcune funzioni interessanti.
Funzioni:
I risultati della ricerca verranno mostrati in un popup sotto la casella di testo nel momento in cui si comincia a scrivere qualcosa. I dati mostrati vengono divisi in Post, Pagine, Comment ed ordinati per data di inserimento in tempi molto rapidi.
E’ possibile modificare il css del popup a tendina per integrarlo alla grafica del vostro sito.
Il plugin offre un piccolo menu di configurazione (amministrazione di wordpress) per modificare alcuni parametri senza dover editare il file css.
Problemi riscontrabili:
- Il css del vostro tema wordpress può andare in conflitto con quello del plugin

Questa versione è stata testata con 4 temi differenti senza creare grossi problemi, ciononostante non si tratta di una versione stabile.

Another thing. How do I put a pre-text afront of the search field saying e.g. “Enter text to search:”

ciao, ho un problema un po fastidioso…il plugin funziona perfettamente, però mi disegna una casellina bianca a destra del searchform.
Potresti dirmi dove intervenire per toglierla?

Quick Search can’t search in a specific category at the moment.
This could be a good idea for a next release of quick search.

Great plugin! I like the fact it works out-of-the-box. I see that you can set it to search a specific form based on the ID of that form, but what about a class of a form. I’d like to have this work on more than one search field on a page, but I can’t if you can only specify one ID.
